Technology is driving development and achieving innovation is becoming the benchmark of success. All sectors, both economic and social are impacted daily by advancements. Education has typically lagged, but that too is changing and at a global level we are accelerating and advancing education in a way that is truly relevant and prepares students for the future where they will live and work.
Online education is not a new concept and is underpinned by substantial academic research and accompanying rigorous development that ensures students are engaging with content and participating in the learning process in a way that ensures more than a mere accumulation of knowledge. Critical thought, problem solving and even knowledge creation is developed through the multimedia and global collaboration that is achieved in the innovative digital environment.
iComprehend Academy (iCA) harnesses the benefits of technology, discovery learning and mastery. We believe that all students have the potential to achieve academic success and given the correct tools, instruction and time, they can do just that! Students can work at a pace that suits them and enables them to dedicate enough time on task to achieve mastery. Many parents may have concerns about the shift of education to the online domain. I want to assure you that at iCA each child is supported by a team of dedicated teachers who provide tutoring sessions, task feedback and project guidance as well as optional synchronous live sessions. We do not lose the human element but rather gain a personalized approach that is convenient and accessible.
The power of the digital Learner Management System facilitates a real time record of each individual’s progress and needs. Students are no longer required to fit in groups based on chronological age and work at a standardized pace that may see them being left behind or possibly bored. We keep each student engaged, challenged, and create an environment where learning becomes fun, and success easily follows.
